We make the convention happen.
"... the best-organized effort to date to become a force in the Republican Party in California..."
Seattle P-I
Some people go to the California Republican Party conventions to watch the events that happen there. TPCC's volunteers make those things happen.
TPCC Volunteers are activists just like you - activists willing to do the work necessary to influence the CRP leadership and its policies. Organizing for a convention is a massive effort - and we need the help of many volunteers to make it all happen.

What would you like to help with?
We have numerous roles you can help with during a convention:
-
Event Setup
Our Event Setup Team is the behind-the-scenes group that does everything from putting out chairs to setting up the Audio/Video. These folks need to be mobile and able to act quickly to take advantage of the gaps between convention meetings.
-
Convention Booth
Every CRP convention, TPCC has a booth where convention attendees can get information about our group. TPCC Booth Volunteers don't just hand out information, they are spokespeople for the Tea Party. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and interact with the mass of convention attendees. Our booth is always one of the biggest draws of the convention - expect to be kept busy!
-
Fundraising Team
Fundraising is a vital role to making sure TPCC even can make it to the convention. Our Fundraisers maintain a table near our booth at the convention, and will help officiate people participating in our raffles. They attend our workshops and meetings, and sell tickets and collect donations. They also help generate new ways for TPCC to raise funds for future events.
-
Floor Volunteers
Sometimes the information booth isn't enough, and we send volunteers out into the convention to help spread information about TPCC events. Volunteers for this team need to be mobile, and like the information booth, be willing to act as a representative of the Caucus.
Are you a CRP member?
If you are a CRP Delegate or Associate, there is so much more you can do at a convention than just an attendee! You'll have access to special meetings, and have greater opportunities to make an impact for TPCC. Please let us know if you are one of these important members!

Where in the state can you help?
California is massive, and the CRP holds meetings in both the northern and southern areas of the state. Understandably, conventions far from where you live means increased travel and hotel expenses, and you may not be able to help at these events. Just let us know what part of the state you can help in, and we'll keep that in mind when planning our teams!
