Issues Panel

Tea Party California Caucus

Issues Panel

Saturday, September 20th
2pm - 3:30pm
Imperial Suite AB (inside the Marriott)

Moderator: Assemblywoman Shannon Grove, District 34

Immigration

How we address illegal immigration as a state and nation has ramifications across all areas of our society. The need to balance compassion and the rule of law makes this issue one of the most complicated facing Conservatives.

Panelists:

Jeff Everly - National Association of Former Border Patrol Officers
Mickey Kaus - journalist and author of KausFiles.com

Education

The legacy we leave our children is one of the greatest concerns for Conservatives. The public education system, especially in California, is generally accepted as pathetic. But– what do we do to fix it?

Panelists:

Mike Spence - West Covina City Council
Colleen Britton - President, Vaca Valley Tea Party

Bravo to the Tea Party! This is a great opportunity for all of us to hear the various points of view on these complex issues aired, take part in the discussion — and hopefully to end up a more united and determined force heading into the November elections.
