Whereas, President Obama is using his office to provide protection for more than 5,000,000 illegal aliens by suspending their deportation hearings until 2019, while allowing these 5,000,000 the “right” to hold a job in our nation, as

Whereas, President Obama has ordered ICE to apprehend and attempt to deport only a few categories of those in our country illegally, including convicted criminals and those deported numerous times, and

Whereas, it is report by Numbers USA, “Pres. Obama has announced that he will expand his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to an estimated 5-6 million illegal aliens after the mid-term elections. The DACA program granted amnesty and work permits to approximately 500,000 illegal aliens, and

Whereas, our schools are overcrowded, our emergency rooms are crowding our honest American citizens, Covered California allows the Obama illegal aliens who are “covered” by his amnesty to buy health care coverage, and

Whereas, as long as amnesty is a possibility, long term comprehensive immigration reform is impossible since the need to fix a broken system is taken away, and

Whereas, the amnesty continues to harm our workers by holding down wages and replacing Americans with people that knowingly violate our laws.

Therefore be it resolved by the California Republican Party that we notify our Republican congressional delegation our support of upholding our immigration laws instead of having a President ignoring the laws he swore to uphold and the media.
